| Kira has made an excellent debut as a show dog with some lovely results. Her 2nd in Puppy at the Nationals in SA in 2013 was a delight to watch as she led the class for so long looking quite pleased with herself and working beautifully. Kira has now made her debut in the obedience ring. At the GSDCV Champ show and Trial she won the CCD ring with 98 and EXC which she then followed up with 4th in her first Intermediate class. Since then she has obtained a second pass with 96 and her third pass with 99 and so now obtained her CCD title At the GSD National in 2014 Kira had her first run in Novice and with a score of 198 gained an Excellent and won the ring. She then went on to run 16th in a lovely Intermediate class later the same day. Kira then won the run off for Winner of Winners making her the Gold Medallist for obedience in 2014 and also the Dual Performance trophy and the special memorial plaques for the David O'Rourke and the Rick Richardson trophies. With two Best in Show wins in Tasmania Kira now has enough points to gain her Championship title. She is the holder of Excellent medallions in both obedience and show as well as the winner of Dual Performance awards at specialty show and trials. At the 2015 National she gained her Excellent in both show and trial giving her back to back David O'Rourke wins for best performance in both show and trial. Kira then went on to gain 10th place in a high quality open bitch class at the 2016 Sydney National and after having an introduction to sheep on the same weekend, gained her Herding Instinct test. Continuing to campaign in performance sports, Kira gained her Companion Dg Excellent with 3 very good scores. Kira then earned her Utility Dog title and I couldn't be more proud of her. She has also worked through some Rally titles for a bit of fun without one non qualifying score! Earning her Rally Excellent with 7 scores over 95/100 she just continues to prove her trainability and work ethic |
